40th ANNUAL MINI-MUSTANG WRESTLING TOURNAMENT

Session 1:
Weigh-ins: 7:30am – 9:00am
Wrestling: 10:00am
Divisions: Junior: Grades 5 and 6
Divisions: Senior: Grades 7 and 8
Session 2:
Weigh-ins: 12:00 – 1:00pm
Wrestling: approx. 15 minutes after session 1
Divisions: Beginner: PreK-K
Super Peewee: Grades 1 and 2
Peewee: Grades 3 and 4
AWARDS: Beginners – Will wrestle 4-man round robin, no score will be kept and all will receive a trophy. (Please note: trophies to beginners will be smaller trophies). All other divisions will wrestle in an 8-man bracket. Big trophies to 1st-4th grade divisions (Top 3), Medals for the 5th-8th grade divisions(Top 3). 1st Place trophy is 19” Tall, 4th place trophies over 1 foot tall. Weight classes will be determined after all entries are received; anyone exceeding weight by more than 1 pound MAY NOT wrestle.
TEAM TROPHIES: Teams will consist of up to 6 wrestlers per team per session. Your team must consist of wrestlers from the same session (No Beginners). Every attempt should be made to have teams made up of kids from the same town or club. Scoring will be from the top 5 place winners of the 6 entries. Points will be awarded the following way: 1st-10, 2nd-8, 3rd-6, 4th-4, 5th-2, and 6th through 8th-1. If there is a tie preset criteria will be used. The team coach is to keep track of your team score. (Team entry is on the back of this form) Trophies will be given to the teams with the top 3 scores per session. All individual team members will receive a medal.
